Registering now for youth clubs, groups and service providers wanting a stand at Spenny Youth Fest 24, Saturday 20th July, 11am-3pm at Spennymoor Youth and Community Centre, Rushmoor, Merrington View, DL16 6PP.
Last year our first youth fest funded by Spennymoor Area Action Partnership attracted 220 people and 35 organisations. The day encourages children/young people (all ages) and their families to drop in and see what youth organisations and activities are out there for them. The event will include FREE workshops, tasters and street food including hair, makeup, nails.
We encourage participating organisations to bring simple activities or equipment that young people can touch and try as part of your stand. We will also have a demonstration space and open mic where organisations can showcase activities such as dance, music and sports.
Last year proved to be a great opportunity for organisations to connect with young people, promote what they do to the wider community and network with other groups, clubs and service providers.
