Registering now for youth clubs, groups and service providers wanting a stand at Spenny Youth Fest 26, Saturday 22nd August, 11am-12 (set up time), 12-3pm open to the public at Spennymoor Youth and Community Centre, Rushmoor, Merrington View, DL16 6PP.
In 2024 first Youth Fest attracted 400 people and 40 organisations. The day encourages children/young people (all ages) and their families to drop in and see what youth organisations and activities are out there for them. The event will include FREE workshops, tasters, free hair, makeup and nail artists plus street food.
We encourage participating organisations to bring simple activities or equipment that young people can touch and try as part of your stand. We will also have a demonstration space and open mic where organisations can showcase activities such as dance, music and sports.
Youth Fest '24 proved to be a great opportunity for organisations to connect with young people, promote what they do to the wider community and network with other groups, clubs and service providers.
